I just recieved my Spalted AL3000 yesterday.

Here's the skinny - it looks fantastic. It has a big dent on the back near the strap botton - hence the B stock.

Since it's a natural finish with a clear coat - it's easily repairable.

The High E string buzzes badly at the first fret only - I haven't decided whether to keep it yet.

    Here you go.

My word thats sexy. If its only a dent and some fret buzz it definately should be a keeper in my book.

I love the pattern too! Can you give us a pic of the dent, so we can see how bad it is?

The dent is really bad - chipped through the clear coat quite instensely.

I fixed the buzz!! chucked the bone nut for the included Graphite nut!!

It's a keeper. Oh - and another thing I've decided that my neighbor is wrong - Ernie Ball strings (from Power to Super Slinky) down right suck compared to the D'Addarios I removed from the guitar.

I just bought my couple of sets of Ernie Balls - it's Web strings for me from now on.

Update - the spalted AL3000 is by far the best guitar i have ever owned!!
It cuts thru any mix, sounds great in any amp, and stays in tune like a beast!!

I had this one plek’d and it plays better than my $3500 PRS Custom 24 10 top.

My two Main guitars - Agile AL3000 spalted and Agile PS970

    - forget Fender, Ibanez, PRS, Gibson, Dean, Kramer, Schecter, ESP - they all bow to the Agile kings and i own models of all of them

I think everyone should give an update on their guitars every 10 years or so.

Don't you ever consider selling that guitar. It's perfect just the way it is.

Very nice. Since you aren't playing the PRS anymore you can ship it my way if you need to dispose of it ;-)
