I've noticed lately that guitar makers call whatever they want "Ice(d) Tea", but damn that's a pretty finish. I must have missed this one earlier... If it had P90s, I'd be all over it.

It's still not Ice Tea, though... Not on my monitor, anyway.

It is not as dark as Gibsons' Ice Tea finish was and man I loved that one.I had it on a 2013 LP Standard and a 2014 Traditional too. It was as if someone used dark tea to stain a Les Paul body before the the shades used for CSB were applied.

The bright lights of flashes make the red stand out more in pics. It's hard to take pics of that finish and make it look like it does up close, I've tried and failed.

this is/was one version of RootBeer Flame from Kurt in the past.

Finish varies from batch run & build factory

Just a non clowny csb. If gibson and some clones hadn't made so many horrendous looking csb over the years they wouldn't need to keep reinventing the name.
gibson had a new beauty and they called it vintage cherry sunburst.

Don't even get me started on Rondo's purple!

I've seen all sorts of crossover in field of brown variants: lemon, iced tea, desert, tobacco, and so on

It is SO important, if the top is important to you, to be able to see the actual guitar.

Any consensus on HSBF? The 3200 currently available in that finish is calling to me...

Honey Sunburst is another one that no one can seem to agree on what it's supposed to look like anymore. I've seen full-on CSB referred to as 'honey'. What I would call 'Ice Tea' has also been designated as HSB by some, while others look at Ice Tea and call it 'Tobacco'.

I have no idea what a 'Tobacco Burst' is anymore. When I was a kid, a 'Tobacco' sunburst referred to Fender's two and three-tone bursts, and Gibson's 'Vintage Sunburst' - due to the dark ambers, browns and black. The term 'Tobacco burst' was meant to differentiate it from a Cherry, or Honey burst with more reds and oranges and brighter ambers.

Now, it seems like any burst with even a light brown/dark amber in it is called 'Tobacco' by many.

Then why do you need a consensus?

I should have been more clear. I'm curious if there is a prevailing consensus about how the Rondo pic of HSBF compares with the actual delivered product.

I was just being cheeky... But still, no, I wasn't sure what you meant.

I've never owned a HSBF Agile, so I'll let others answer that question. On average, these guitars always look way better in person, but I wouldn't say they look drastically different from the photos.

This is my 3200 HSBF. I had a 2000 that was much more yellow in the middle than this one. But I also thought this looks more like an Iced Tea than a Honey finish. You could almost call it a Cherry burst. I love it though, the color, the flame. It plays like a dream.

Your photobucket pics aren't showing, an error message stating "Please update your account to enable third party hosting." I guess they want you to pay for it now. You can upload pics directly to AGF by clicking on the middle button labeled "Upload File" in the lower right hand corner ...

It seems to be a blurred line between HSB and Amber Flame. First pic below is an AL-3100M from around 2012/13 that was listed on the Rondo site as a honey sunburst, second is an AL-2500 12 string and the third is an early 2000s Epi Elitist considered the same:
