Almost Bought That Ladybug B-stock

    Really. For my oddball, high tuned, Nashville strung project. UNTIL I realized there's no truss rod in the neck. Somehow, I think that might be important on a guitar with no wound strings, no matter how high you tune it. :)

    Actually, Rondo has that Rockin' Rose short scale on sale and its neck width is okay. But my god, that the ugliest guitar color scheme I have ever seen:

    I'd like to try an Epiphone Express, which is about the same price. I think it would work but man, there are so many complaints about lousy assemby, fretwork, and general lack of QC about it on Amazon. I think the SX would be a lot more likely to play sort of okay out of the box. But that color scheme really stikes me...in a horrible way.

    If it's too much of a problem, run a string or two down the back. Who needs a truss rod?
