Smoking deal on those! Anyone would be hard pressed to find anything even close to that for that price.

If I wasn't already in on the semicustom R1 I'd have to have one of these.

How are the necks on these? I'm actually intrigued by those orange and yellow ones...

Mine is from the first batch, but I think these are the same. You can ask Horax to confirm this.
The finish is nicer, more transparent on the new ones, in my opinion.

I would call the neck profile close to the Epiphone slim taper D or there abouts, maybe a touch thicker.
Either way it is a slimmer rather than a chunkier or deeper C.
I feel it is well worth the full price and then some.

Still very happy with it, though I did upgrade the tuners and swapped the ceramic magnets for A5 neck and A2 bridge.
The bridge pickup could use longer screws or maybe a wood block in the cavity if you like your P90 bridge pickup very close to the strings.
I added another spring to each by overlapping the end coils to make effectively a longer spring.

The only thing "bad" on mine was the plastic nut was way too high (the slots were not bad); I was planning and did replace it with a Tusq XL anyway and it is great. I could have knocked it off and sanded the bottom down and it would have been serviceable as well.
Others did not report this as far as I know so mine might have been an anomaly.

My brother likes it so much he bought the SG type - the Las Vegas, and except for some minor finish imperfections, (not uncommon for the price point), he loves it.

You asked about the neck, sorry for the Ramble On.

I am in no way a sponsor for them, just a satisfied customer.

I got one of the blue ones from the first batch. It has the big G-like headstock. I would agree that the neck is not chunky, but it has the nicest rosewood fretboard: dark and kind of swirly. It came with the standard TOM bridge, and I was hoping for the wraparound, but that's how it goes. I really do like it. Plays really nicely... easy. No changes made.
