My wife and I are friends with James Dylan who sings for Jason Bonham, we're trying to coordinate a quick meetup after their set, but I don't want to miss Cheap Trick either.

I'm off to see the same show in 3 weeks - I'm really looking forward to this one (and I'm hoping for Starrider to make the set - let us know if it does, if you would).

The only downside is the price of the t-shirts - did you see the pre-order link?

EDIT: This'll be the first time I've seen them with Kelly Hansen too, I think he's been a great frontman for them.

Cheap Trick was the first "real" concert I went to, not long after they released Live at Budokan... an amazing show!

It was a really good show! the led zep set list and performance was fantastic. Cheap Trick still brings it (and TONS of guitars!). Foreigner hit it out of the park.

I love Foreigner, but I am a HUGE CT fan. Haven't seen them in several years, but hope they still have it. I know that the last time I saw them, Zander was still a pretty bad-ass lead singer. He's criminally underrated as a rock singer. Not the world's greatest frontman, but (IMO) he's in my top 10 rock *singers* I've ever heard.

Both of these bands have been regular openers for Journey (sometimes together); I'm surprised they're not on the bill <G>. Foreigner is now a tribute band. There have been times on tour when not even the original guitar player was present (illness) which meant that no original members were playing. Cheap Trick, however, is always worthwhile and fun.
