Today is the Flying V's birthday!
Post up your pointy goodness!
Two stars for you for digging copy of the patent!
Never touched one, and locally a blues guy has one set for slide.
Special feel to the V?
Hey yesterday was my birthday too!
Does this mean I need to own a V?
Of course! But only if you want one.
And, Happy Birthday!
Good old HB FV-430 with an upgraded wiring harness and a set of Hot 10 pickups out of an Eastwood Airline:
I'll admit I've always been fond of them - and Thank You!!
Wow that's sweet - do they still carry that model?
Nope, though they've got something with string throughs and in line tuners now:
Although I like yours better, this isn't bad. A set neck for $118?? Wow.
You know, there are days I wish I was a left handed player, and could spend the weekend at your place.
Happy B-Day to one of my favs!
If they're using the same pickups as the ones that came in mine, don't forget to include the cost of a new set...
Ha, that's one of the problems I have with selling guitars on the local CL. I figure the prospective buyer will be in and out of here in fifteen minutes but then they see what's sitting around, inevitably they want to check things out and of course, I'm living on a lefty guitar island here so I'm more than happy to oblige and talk a little shop. Hours later...
Not shipping now - darn CITES.
Once the current inventory sells out, it will be restocked with a fretboard that is CITES compliant. I've seen this with the lefty models...
very special indeed imo, playing a V is a very free feeling!
sorta like playing nude but not quite as good
