Loving This Riff

    So clearly I'm being my own biggest fan, but I'm loving this little riff I crafted a couple of weeks ago.

    It's a 2-track loop; 11 seconds in duration and looped several times in this recording. Pardon the crude recording. It's just a quick grab on my cell phone. No video.

    I came up with this while noodling in the days following the two GnR shows I saw Labor Day weekend.

    Obviously the top-hatted one was in my musical DNA that day.

    I like it too, I'd like to hear it with the solo a bit lower maybe though so I can hear it better

    I was considering the backing line and the lead line to be one combined riff.

    But I hear you. I made a few recordings and each was a compromise on some level. This one seemed the best compromise.

    That is some solid material to build a song around. It kicks as on it's own, too.
