Post recent accomplishments here that your significant others and offspring don't seem to care about, but Manly Men would.

Here are mine for the weekend:

Put down 221 pieces of Sod.
Replaced shorted-out outdoor Gfci outlet, which in turn, rectified the non-working pool heater problem.

    Your turn.

I replaced the stopper assembly in one of our bathroom sinks.

Also killed one deer yesterday and butchered that one and three others.

Fixed and bled the brakes on two cars.
Lit a heavily gas-soaked bonfire that created flames 50 feet high. I was certain it was great when my panicked wife came out of the house after the pressure wave hit. The kids did like that.

I took an old man nap rather than continuing to watch the Bears give one away to the Packers...

Rented a bounce house yesterday for my 3 year old son's bday and we all hung out outside in 40 degree New England temps. I had a fire going and we drank some beer and roasted smores for the kids. I gave all the kids nerf guns to shoot at each other in the bounce house.

Now I'm watching Tom Brady exert his manliness on the Broncos.

I washed a fancy tablecloth I stained bigly with red wine last night during dinner.
    Oxyclean.

I also gave some thought on how to best hang the much-needed shelving in the basement, then took a break to get on the forum (you know the drill). And after that, I installed a fresh torrent sw of one of the laptops to access a spoken word doc.

Kudos to RF with the sod job!

Repaired our vacuum cleaner... again. And stained some shelves I’m working on for our kitchen.

I installed a new dishwasher last weekend. Both me and Mrs. Hand care about that.

Since the old one crapped out, we were becoming the dishpan Hands....

I made a carrot side dish for a dinner party, that made everyone go WOW.
wrote and recorded a super cheesy song, and
split about a weeks' worth of firewood from about a twenty 12-14" jackpine rounds.

Tonight I aim to consume a full bottle of cabernet sauvignon.

I made a wood enclosure for my chop saw. It has a dust port to contain the dust and suck it into my dust collector.

Slept most of the day Sunday whilst ignoring repeated instant messages from GF (who was at work BTW...so what is so urgent ?).

Finally sent her a selfie of me sleeping so she would leave me alone....

Her diabolical response to this was to ring me up at 1:30 AM to say goodnight....a guy can't win.

Almost forgot..Bluetooth speaker died....no power....took apart jiggled everything around and reconnected power lead....works again ! Whew...saved myself 13 bucks to buy a new one !

Diagnosed our non-heating dryer. Grabbed a schematic from the internet first, then troubleshot the problem in about five seconds, had the part ordered from Amazon in a few more minutes ($10), and it'll take me about two minutes to mount and wire the new part, and a few more minutes to put the cover back on, spin it back to the wall, plug it in, and tell the wife it's fixed.

Split and stacked 3 cords of wood with the scouts for a local trap club

Stained and sealed a door and frame, forgetting that I needed to trim 3/4 of an inch off first.

Took several boxes of stuff to goodwill.

    Made some soup.

Got under the house this weekend in 44F temp and 3 feet high crawlspace to patch a water pipe that it turns out has been leaking without my knowledge for the last few months (it's dirt - and now mud - under there - the water has been going through that and heading out down the road). Oh and this was done without turning the water off, because the leak was on the main pipe side of our shutoff valve...

Over the last 2 weeks I've Installed smart plugs & switches around the home (Google Home & Alexa Dots) so that:
    a) We can turn things on and off if we're out and/or lazy; and
    b) my daughter can turn the 'magical' fairy lights and lights on her mini Christmas tree in her pink princess bedroom on and off with her voice and thinks I'm the best, most magical Daddy in the Universe. Personally I think it's an amazing transition from being Home Sapiens into Homo Omnipotent, the missus thinks it's a cool gimmick.

Oh and just about talked said wife into a first threesome in several years. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Broke down the deck furniture, grill, etc. for the year, drove 400 miles round trip to Maine and back, fixed a clogged tub drain, drinking Jack now.
