Nice deal! Another of those Adorama Gretsch quickies?

Looks that way. Not sure how long it will be available but I'm glad I don't have Gretsch GAS.

I'm glad I don't have the money. I'd really like that exact guitar.

Hey... I got one of those in candy apple red from GC for a great price at the time. This one is $100.00 less than I paid. That's an insane deal on a superb guitar.

    I dig that color too!

F#ck me! I have had major Streamliner GAS for several months. I was going to chase one of these down after I completed a return and received my refund... which will probably wrap up a week from now.

But I may have to act now and let that refund backfill a Gretsch purchase.

    Not really a dilemma, I just prefer this happen A > B > C and not A > C > B.

(Kinda like when a certain ex-girlfriend would justify a big slice of cheesecake because she was going to workout the next day.)

Thank you for the PSA. If I found out next week that I could have saved $100 this week, that would have been more upsetting.

To confirm, this promo code applies only to this Streamliner model and color (G2655T in Gold Dust).

I’ve tried and it does not work with the larger G2622T models nor the other colors for the G2655T, like Natural and Black.

I know! That’s my favorite color for this model.

Going to sleep on it. If I wake up in the morning still wanting it, and the promo code works, I’ll get one.

One of my favorite things to do on YouTube is watch guitar demos in languages I cannot speak. And the less I understand, the better.

There are a couple of Korean dudes who host a show called “Gear Times.” I have no clue what they’re saying, but they still make me laugh my ass off.

Another one of my go-to gurus is this savvy Czech shredder, who happens to have a demo of this particular guitar...

Alright, so I bought one. I was considering the MF exclusive CAR model selling for $450, just like @big daddy bought, but I like the Golddust finish just as much so...

Trigger pulled. Done. Bed time now.

I won’t regret it in the morning. At $350 all-in, there’s no way I can lose money on the deal even if I chose to flip it in a hurry thru Craigslist.

Thanks to @RiverDog for the heads-up!

Too bad I can't speak Czech. He's getting a nice sound in that video.

I fiddled with a Streamliner at GC a few months ago, like it, and said to myself, Yeah, but...

My b'day is coming up very soon, so I indulged.
    Gold dust it is.

Torino Green would have been nice, but not coupon-able.

Honestly, if GC had one of the gold dust models when I got my CAR Gretsch, I likely would have gone with that color instead. CAR is cool and all, but that color just looks so right on that guitar.

Thanks, Riverdog, for the heads up. Been looking at the Jr. for some time but hadn't seen the deal that would make me jump. This was it and mine is on order too!! Perfect complement to my Pro Jet (it too is in gold I might add).

I looked at my order and realized they had the wrong model number in the description. The guitar photo and description are correct but the model should be G2655T not G2622T. The latter is a valid model number but not for the guitar they are selling. I have notified Adorama and hopefully they will correct it soon.

Ick - Gretsch nomenclature drives me up the wall. To me, I have a gold Pro Jet, not some number I can never remember but always get mixed up with the others.

This just gets me wondering how similar or different this would be to my epi casino coupe with a5 buckers. I like the guitar but not sure if I love the feel of the neck. Sometimes it seems more tiring.
