Anyone know of any s/s/s body alternatives to a strat? I'm not opposed to a strat, especially if I can get my hands on one of those vintage white SE series Squiers that were brought up in another thread.

    How is Rondos offerings?

I like the offset kits I see on the bay, but cheaper is better.

I have a set of Keystones for strat (I think Becky quit manufacturing these) just sitting here unused. I might just sell them & save myself the trouble.

I like the idea. I have too many teles though.

My Prinz copy has Bill Lawrence noiseless strat pickups.

I mean, I think anything can have 3 singles... but I see em on strats almost exclusively. Teles will have an odd size for the bridge pup, and possibly the neck pup. Someone, I think Raven, makes an LP with triple singles... and I think it is ugly as triple sin. I think ditto for SG. Honestly, I would just go strat for convenience, especially if cost is a factor.

Went to my nearest pawn shop. They wanted $280 for one of those Squier strats! At least I got to hold one. Nice body & necks. How'd I miss those?!

G&L Legacy, which has a bass roll off similar to Reverends...

What’s your price range? I’ve seen quite a few used Legacies go for $300-350. Not really cheap but a helluva bargain.

The pic I posted was from Pitbull Audio, it’s a near mint customer return selling for $399. That’s a steal since the newer shipments are retailing for $550-600 now.

I'm hoping for a CL or pawn shop special of around $50-$100.
As always I looked at the Rondos.

I also like the look of that offset Cozart thing with the trem. Don't like the weird veneer though.

For cheap and easy get a strat. If no local deals pick one of 100's on GC used. For something nice and a little different this ibby is the other and practically only other option.

Still rather strat-y, but the Sterling/Musicman Cutlass looks pretty cool to my eyes
