IF I didnt have tube amps I would buy that right now.
dunno how long it would last but what the hell.

    I like the 15w / 1w switch.
I guess thats a pentode / triode switch?

Dont get the Tone knob, it has TMB.
    Its one channel right?

I wonder what type of footswitch it takes.

I have the old version I bought as a refurb, and changed the reverb tank. Love it, sounds great.

yes one channel. I don't understand the tone knob either, doesn't seem to make a difference when I use it.

It acts like a guitar tone knob, affects tone around input instead of later in chain.

Sorry, I was wrong, it's more towards the end of the signal chain in the amp.

Check out Laney Cub 12r manual for better description.

Brain fart, knew I read it somewhere, but forgot end of signal chain within amp. See attached. The tone is between v3b and v5 in the diagram

I think I saw a "$10-off at Monoprice" on an PP email recently.

Glad to see that they fixed the reverb on it too. Gotta love it when companies listen!

Probably won't work anyway as it's already on sale. They have a $15 off a $75 purchase with PayPal right now too ( code PAYPAL15 ) but it doesn't work either. It will work on the 5 watt amp which is on sale too, but no free shipping.

Interesting. I see the guitar tone knob reference there.
Seems like tits on a bull but worth some twiddling.

I'd like to jump it out and see what it does to the PI gain.

I can't build that for 150.00 in parts alone. At least, not using decent parts and even then... might as well quit if stuff like this gets around. I think I'll go check out this site, I haven't been in there for ages.

And they put the knobs up front. I am just all full of amps now and have the older 5 watter sitting upstairs.

Oh and that < 1 watt is dang LOUD!

If I didn't already have a bunch of 20-ish watt 1x12" tube amps, this'd be a no-brainer at $150. But I do, and it doesn't do anything my others won't. If you're not in that category though, it's a heckova deal.
