Even though some of us have WAY more guitars than we need, it's good to give them all some love. I try to play all my faves at least once a week. At the moment my recipe for fun and goodness is:

    MrHappy and Firehawk Cropped.jpg

    What is yours?

Clearly not impressed by the shredding occurring across the room.

I just got back from playing in a parade with my church P/W band on a big flat-bed trailer...full band, drums and all. 30,000+ people turn out for the parade, which is the biggest crowd I've ever played for. We played for 2 hours straight. I used my sage green strat.

I'm feeling very "Tonemaster and Toile" today. Hey, isn't that a song from the late 60? ;)

Playing this bass and warming up for a show this afternoon. The nerves are high, as this is the first time I'll be singing and playing at the same time live. This has been a sticking point for me in the past, wish me luck.

Good luck with that. I've never been able to sing and play together very well. Which isn't surprising since I suck at both separately.

Thanks. I thought I'd give myself a challenge. Well, I'm challenged. It's been awhile since I've scared myself like this... in a good way.

Very comfortable with ths guitar. Stable , great electronics. These pics are from this week.
Working on Brian Wilson " Darlin' " and "Layla" ( not the emotional cop-out Clapton acoustic shuffle version but my slow version of the electric one with pathos and heartbreak)

I'm not playing any at the moment but I'm moving a ton of them around because it's Saturday afternoon which means it's time to vacuum...

Bottoms of cases are the worst dust catchers because of the rounded bottom.I wish you could use dust some way. We'd be IN !

Wednesday it was a Gretsch 3140, then yesterday it was set up time on the Alchemy twins to they got put through the gears after, truss rod, bridge and intonation adjustments. The guitar I play regularly by the computer for learning stuff and keeping loose is a 1981 Gibson "The Paul".
