The SX will usually have a much beefier neck which is good for me but maybe not for a young girl. There are 3/4 size hawks, though.
My cord looked nice too but was crackly. I have the walnut one.
I don't use the middle pickup alone, but positions 2 and 4 sound great and if you hit a higher gain pedal, they are noise canceling like on a Strat.
Hendrix and SRV were always wasted when they we're playing this... So she is totally nailing that sound, too.

I loaded trucks for UPS when I was young. Fragile label meant it makes a really neat sound when you drop it.
