From an email I received from Theresa this morning in regards to another thread about a possible Agile version of the old Gibson Custom Supreme and restocking a purple quilt AL-3010SE :

I will highlight the posts for Kurt. We are expecting some AL-3100MCC and AL-3200MCC models later in the year with some new finishes. Also we are hoping to have the ALD-3010SE Oceanburst back in stock this summer.

I recall a thread a few weeks ago where someone was interested in an Al-3200MCC but none are currently in stock..

    Thanks for the post @tobijohn

I just checked and he's got AL-3010SEs in stock. So not sure what you were saying
One is the purple burst, and the other is that Fugly Fuscia chick guitar
I wonder if the new stock of 3010's will be different. I wish that 3010 didn't have jumbo frets.

I check rondo regular and will be looking for the new stock.

Still no news on your purple semi-custom?

ALD-3010SEs, not AL-3010SEs. The thin ones, probably the kind with those wild tops and different control layout. As for the semi-customs, I was told last week that they're currently in a container on its way and should be in NH the end of this month which means I probably won't see them until the first week of August...

I had mentioned in a previous email to them that they might be decent demand for a purple quilt AL and going forward, they might want to consider that finish...

IMHO, Rondo's entire stock has been lacking for a while.

"Later this year " does customers no good that are looking to buy now.

I'm hoping that the container that is supposed to arrive at the end of this month with my two Custom Select guitars also contains other inventory with less than seven strings...:)

Of course you forget that in Kurt's world, "Later this year" = next week. "Arriving soon" also = discontinued.

ALD ? I didnt recall seeing these before. How did I miss that? Seems an interesting take and would sell well. Especially after Kurt has been screamed at for 10 years about his guitars being too heavy

A purple quilt Al-3200MCC would be pretty cool. Years ago, there was an unbound old style Tribal Purple AL3200 that languished on the site for quite a while. I was tempted but the slim neck scared me off and it eventually sold. I later found out that slim necks while not my ideal profile, worked fine for me:

Yes, if he offered only that 3200, I'd probably buy one - I like every Tribal pic I've seen, and purple is my wife's favorite color. I worry about slim being too slim (one of the reasons I've also stayed away from Rickies).
