Definitely dump the pickguard or get white knobs and only play it on July 4th!

More to the point, is it 23.5" scale length like a real Byrdland? I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the Chibson was 24.75 …

It'd be great if you could find a PG to match!

Those be top hat knobs. Witch hats would be interesting though.

I was thinking the same thing. Its too bad Jay Turser does not do all those hollow bodies any longer. They have a much smaller lineup up of solid bodies an acoustics now. 15 years ago it seemed Jay Turser had limitless variations on the models they offered.

I had 5 or 6 JT's. Decent guitars. Not great but OK and fun.

Where did this thread come from?

I like the blue/red contrast. I'd wait & decide though, although a blue guitar wouldn't be my choice. Almost as bad as green, although Sherwood is at the top.

I was thinking about your KING Blowtorch as i'm struggling to justify buying one of these.

I've been looking at that style myself in a flame, natural finish. The real deal is way outta my price range.

That king is gorgeous! If they made a lefty I’d definitely grab one. I have one of the lefty King single P-90 Goltop LP’s. I’ve been looking on AE at the Byrdland copies there. I might message the eBay seller I got my King from to see if he can get a lefty for me.

So,, it's not here yet. What I'd thought was a PO notification for the BlueByrd's arrival was actually notification for a floor lamp :expressionless:
