It is behind the "paywall". :(

That is the last place I will ever pay money to. Why? Because every link I have ever tried to something on the NYT has been behind the paywall. If they want subscribers they should
give you the first item then throw up the paywall when you try for another.

Hmmm... I'm able to read it... Maybe I haven't read enough NYT articles this month to get it blocked?

Thanks for sharing, Poodlesrule! Fun stuff to read!

Yeah I get 5 free a month I think. Even with that I think I might subscribe anyway as they offer a $26 annual digital subscription. Now that I'm spending more time at home, I read a lot more and they have a lot of great content.

It's funny I remember my dad forcing us to sit and watch the moon landing and activities. He also had saved the newspapers from that week in plastic seal and I found them, mildewed and yellowed in the basement when I cleaned my mom's house for sale.

This link came on a photo forum (what was APUG) where I hang out.

A (late) member of that forum was a photo engineer with the space program and had great insights and anecdotes about it. Another had actual photos of the Gemini capsule recovery at sea - I may have posted about that here, before?

Put a . after .com... so it would look like blahblahblah.com./blah
    Hit enter, you're welcome.

Funnily enough I'm not even living in the US and the NYT is the only newspaper I subscribe too. Maybe it was a special deal but for 50c a week I figured it was good value given the quality of the NYT journalism and the resources they have at their disposal.

But that said, I do recall it was 5 articles a month or something before the paywall kicked in. Which was a PITA before I decided to subscribe.
