Pretty neat new loop system
Maybe I would even practice if I had one. Seems nice. What is the cost?
Sam If you wait a little Jim (Perfect Stranger) will have one for sale...
I said the same thing when I bought the Jamman. That was actually my whole justification for buying the Jamman. I've practiced with it like 4 times in 6 months. This one has a lot more rhythm choices, though. So maybe if I buy this one, I'll practice more. Yeah, that's the ticket...
I stopped using justification think when buying "stuff" I really didn't need, but wanted. I can top your Jamman story too. I bought one from Sweetwater 3 years plus ago. It's still in the original unopened shipping box. LOL I don't feel guilty at all, but I do feel like an asshat. my wife would agree with that conclusion.
See I always take them out of the box and make sure they work. I'll be damned if a broken pedal is going to sit on my shelf collecting dust for no reason.
The real madness is that I like the Jamman a bunch. It is a good practice tool. It is pretty easy to use. It sounds good. I need to train myself to reach for it more frequently.
That’s right and $299 is a bit much for my tight self.
I bought the JMAN a week or so prior to the Trio Plus coming out. My intention was to buy the Trio Plus and return the JMAN. As it turned out, life happens and I got busy. By the time I realized I had forgotten to return the JMAN, the return window was gone. #mybad Kind of a costly oversight on my part, but it is what it is.
Don't you just hate when that happens!
Craigslist man! Dump at 50% and use that as a down payment on your Trio +
@tonray I bought the Trio Plus the day or two after it hit the stores. I think it was roughly a week or so after i bought the dang Jamman. LOL FWIW, I had no idea the Trio Plus was coming out as fast as it did, otherwise I would have just waited for that.
Yeah, it drives me batty. Fortunately, it doesn't occur that often.
Cant win in this game. I usually wait to see what products are demoed at Namm but sometimes it takes months to be available and just when you give up and buy something it's out.. Doh
I like this thing...but $299 is a bit steep. I could see really using this however as I hate to use the PC to record anything...takes the spontaneity away and I don't enjoy playing then. I also do NOT own an audio interface yet...if I was going to blow a $100 bucks on an audio interface anyway...then maybe this thing makes more sense as I know I would get more use of it and I think the songs are exportable vie .WAV format which then can be modded in DAW later. I''ll see what the price ends up being here....usually a premium but we'll see. If not, I'll wait for those 15% Ebay coupons and pick it up next trip back to USA.
Looks like NUX is also coming with a competitor...likely at a better price point
Both of these look pretty cool. I finally bought that looper on big discount awhile back (1 or 2 years?) I've barely used it but I actually needed to use it yesterday. I didn't because I wasnt practiced. I did a very small performance at an art show. Just big enough to proof of concept so I should start working with it and putting a real act together.
Maybe after that I will look at a trio or one of these listed.
They need to hire the cute young lady in the Boss ad. Much more enjoyable.
I use my looper pedal EVERY DAY, it’s my impromptu source for jamming and practicing on the fly.
I don’t see the differences between this pedal and other loopers. I can tell you that when they miniaturize and reduce the footprint so you have less buttons, it makes for a very difficult pedal to work!
