I'd need to part with some gear first, but if/when I do these are on my short list. I'd like to check them out first. I was in my local shop the other day and they said they should have them in late Feb / early March.

I love me some purple guitars. Those are both very nice. Good luck with your pursuit.

I'm into the Lead III. I want my local store to get one so I can see if it's as good as it looks!

Yea I had seen those. I think Epiphone nailed it with that color, looks JUST like a Gibson Goddess in Violet. I thought about that one. That Fender color is great too, I don't bond with Fender neck profiles though.

    Purple Rules!!

Love both of them! The color is perfect on both of them. Both Epi and Fender have been doing some exciting things lately.
I would like to get another purple guitar. I only have one..... In this one is a bit more violet than purple. I'd like to find one that's a little bit deeper purple

That is a beautiful guitar. I remember when Cort was producing that model. If I remember that guitar was circa 2000 or so. Cort was such an overlooked company back then.

Yeah. This one is 2000-2003. Cort has always been somewhat overlooked. The thing is that they are one of the biggest ghost builders in the world too, just like Samick.

That’s what everyone wants, a guitar that doesn’t suffer from affliction of the Fuscia Wanna-be Purple (FWP) syndrome.

Funny you mention that, I’ve been shopping for purple Charvel for like 3-4 months. I really want a 24 fret DK but I need to get educated on them, the SOCALs are on the list too it’s just I’ve had super strats and with a Floyd I just want the extra frets and accessibility. Like are the Mex ones good enough, or do I really need a USA one? I’d like to try and find one of the vintage plum ones (I think that was the color)

I find the market for the Charvels are interesting, millions of em out there, but they don’t seem to sell, and then conversely it seems I can never find a deal on them, very stable and consistent pricing. You’d think to move em people would price them more aggressively but they never do.

I’d love to get a DK24 in BOTH the Trans Purple and one in the Purple Phaze. What the hell, fun to shop, there aren’t too many guitars left on my bucket list!

Epiphone QC not looking good. No excuse for high frets on brand new guitars. This isn't the first video I've seen commenting on poor fretwork on these new Epiphones. This makes me lean more towards the Fender being the frontrunner.

Its a shame. They used to be better than Gibson at QC. Oh well, "Play authentic!"

Love the dark gloss purple colors. Metal flake is a plus.

That’s correct Cort is one of the largest producers of guitars in the world. I have really been a fan of Cort as a brand since the late 90s or so. Nowadays the quality of their guitars is first rate. I have a Cort CR300 LP copy and it plays as good or better than the real thing.
