I saw none of these at GC one day. Picked it as soon as I saw it. Passed on it because I enjoy my marriage.

Now I probably would have called that a "Honey Burst".

The wife saw me come in the door with the guitar bag over my shoulder. The conversation went like this.

Her - "Did you guys have fun? What did you talk about during the drive?"
Me - "The usual... work, guitars, gigs..."

I took the guitar out of the bag and flipped it around so she could see the top.

    Her - "Oh, that's beautiful."
Me - "And it was on sale at a great price."
Her - "You don't need to justify buying that to me."

And... this is why you marry a musician. She has a Sax worth around $6k and a flute which is worth at least $10k, probably more. A $700.00 guitar isn't going to ruffle her feathers plus, I only use gig or sold gear money to purchase new gear. My sweat, my choice on how I spend that money. Works for us ;)

Same here. Like my Honeyburst AL3K. Same finish but you could use either color (imho) to describe it.

    Congrats!
    Just a stunningly beautiful piece.
The Stapleton amp is a brownface princeton 6g2 circuit, with some mods I think.
I recently built a 6g2 and am really digging it.

Definitely nice. Hand wired, great fit/finish, solid (had some heft for a little guy.) Just a bit too rich for my blood.

The current pricing for a vintage Princeton is off the charts so in the grand scheme of things, I guess the Stapleton isn't ridiculous. Had I kept my Princeton, which I think I paid about $350.00 for, I think it would be worth $1k - $1.5k now. Oh well...

Congrats on a heck of a looker. I know I've said it before, but some of the PRS SE models are just amazing all the way around. I would have had a hard time passing on that one too.

Those really are beautiful. Maybe I'm just being a little superficial, but I really like the change that they've made to the signature on the headstocks of the latest PRS SEs. Classy.
