That sucks, Digitech/DOD have been putting out some great stuff in the last couple of years. I bought the Obscura delay and was so impressed I gradually added the Polara, Nautilus and Ventura and love them all. I guess blowing out Gunslingers and Boneshakers wasn't enough to keep them going, I wonder if they just couldn't get past Digitech's shitty reputation. I admit it took a lot for me to buy something with the name "Digitech" on it, but once I did I realized how great the new stuff is.

I have all of the Digitech Hardwire pedals, they are great. The new DOD ones are pretty good too.

That's crazy, the Digitech JamMan Delay is one of my favorite pedals of all time. Sad.

My very first pedal was a Digitech RP250. It was probably the biggest reason I kept playing through the terrible learning years when I started. I haven't gotten any other pedals since, but I've heard many good things as mentioned above. We'll we what Harmon announces soon...

EDIT: Correction: I have their looper pedal. That thing really helped me learn how to somewhat solo and do leads and layers.

They are the only company that I know of that is mass-producing such great sounding, well-built, and unique effects. I will add the DOD Carcosa Fuzz to the same category.

I guess the guys at Samsung saw all the news stories that the guitar is dead, and figured they'd better get out of the business. I wonder why they're shitcanning everyone instead of just selling the company?

I really like every Digitech product I ever owned. Samsung = Suckass! Every Samsung product except my first smart phone has broken including a house full of appliances and TV's. All Crap.

I've liked the majority of my Digitech/DOD stuff, especially my Bad Monkey. I hope this doesn't mean that they're totally discontinuing the brand/products.

As far as Samsung stuff goes, I've had both good and bad experiences with their products. For the most part, they seem fairly dependable, though.

Damn that is rough. I remember saving up and trading in a slew of gear for my DigiTech rp-1.
Great stuff for the bedroom player.
The gsp2101 was amazing and still is a hell of a unit.
I would have thought they were going to get reabsorbed into Boss/Roland

I was just reading a TGP thread yesterday and wondering why Tom changed his user name. Them I saw this on Reddit this morning. Tom commented that Harman is moving warehousing out of the US to Mexico. I love DigiTech and DOD stuff.

Agree with @DominicC about the Carcosa fuzz. It's my fav fuzz ever.
