Passed up on one for these in red last year for $350, had this one in my watch list for a bit and it went on sale for $450. I showed it to my wonderful wife and she told me not pass up on this one. It arrived today, well packed and safe.

I think I paid too much for it, but I'm ok with it. Love the color, it plays very nicely and has a wide, thin feeling neck. Nut width is 1-11/16. I actually had to raise the action a bit as it was really low, but once I set it at 3/64ths on the high E and 5/64ths on the low E, no fret buzz at all, and the frets feel really smooth. It came with flat wound D'adarrio's on it, but they felt very stiff and the high E and G broke almost immediately when I started playing it. This is my only P90 guitar in the bunch. They're ok. More in the bump.

The issues are a minor scuff and dent, the clear on the neck near the fretboard noticeably flaking, and the adjustment screws for the pickups were stripped and the shavings were stuck to the pole screws.

But it did come with a decent padded Italia guitars gig bag, which was not listed, so I figure it works out in the end. I already replaced the stripped screws and pulled out the crappy foam under the pickups and replaced it with springs. Worked out well.

Thank you, guys. It definitely needs a roller bridge at least, so I'm thinking another Wilkinson-style is in the cards for me. I may end up removing the vibrato and putting in a stop bar, but then I'll have screw holes to deal with.

Looks like a guitar with character to me. Congrats, play the heck out of it , and maybe get some flowers for that wonderful wife.

My wife likes to brag about the guitars she pushed me to buy... gotta love 'em.
