I don't care much for it, but there is a lobstering family down the road from me -luckily there are a few folks doing some actual work near me, in this traditional retiree spot... I have seen their backyard with enormous stacks of lobster pots before, and the occasional boat run, but today, very early morning, I got to see the three boats trailering out, together, loaded with the pots. Impressive! The boats should be back in 2-3 days. Must be high catch season. That's for local lobster harvesting. The shellfishing is already on alert, as the water temp creep seem to alter the aquatic life some, already. Oysters would be first to suffer. What's being harvested in your neck of the woods?
