I like that Corvus. Especially in Surf Green. But it's very similar to the Powder Blue Liquid that I have, other than the scale. Plus it's a good deal more expensive than it used to be. I think they went for $189, and maybe even less on occasion.

Over time I've come to prefer the looks of the Liquid to the looks of a Jazzmaster or JM copy.

just personal experience with standard Ceti, but the humbuckers were atrocious. So, so muddy...

Maybe they improved, but I would budget a pickup upgrade into the cost.

Otherwise the Ceti is a very good buy if you like the Harm body design.

Interesting they are both listed with rosewood fretboards too. Is CITES no more or just more old spec cut and pasting?

I grabbed a black Corvus 627 many years ago. Those stock pickups are the worst, but I replaced them with humbucker shaped P-90s, tuned the beast way down low, and it ROCKS. A 27" scale baritone is a lot more practical than a 30" scale baritone, in my book. If you want a baritone, and you miss out on this one, you may be looking for a long while. I think the price is OK.
