hey, I went to the link above and they were asking for spkr. data, I guess he didn't get the (one page) owners manual. if anyone is interested it says it's a 10"Alnico(25oz) 20watt 1.35vc 8ohm- it has a smooth tight cone and I think it sounds better(way louder) than the Weber I installed, but the Weber seems to be less efficient so you have to crank it to get the same volume, and that means more dirt/warmth [hr]

Hey, I just got the Eagletone 615t 15 watt tube. Being new to tube amps, i was looking around at several/ low watt, low cost options. and found the eagletone used for 100.00

I will say that it seems to be an outstanding value, even at the 180.00 retail, because
you could not buy a kit, or the parts for less.
the amp, is made of wood, it might be plywood but it appears to be pine. it has a 10 inch speaker there is no label on it. it sounds pretty good. and it is LOUD
This is a 15watt amp, powered by 2 12ax7 and 2 el84 the tubes are RUBY stock.
the amp has one channel with two inputs high/low,built in vibrato and reverb the knobs are volume, tone, speed ,intensity and reverb. my amps reverb does little to nothing
i believe, the cigarette pack size reverb box is inadequate, or defective, in my case.
somewhere i read it is a vox ac15 clone, probably assumed due to the same built in features, vibrato etc. i would love to try to mod it, master volume, ext speaker jack
attenuator etc.. however in dont have the spec, if it is a vox copy the specs are around. how can i tell?
i would be happy to post pictures of the insides, if anyone can help or is interested. this is a lil gem if the modders jump on board.
stock its clean till louder than i can play it @ 3 people will leave the room

i say you can't lose at under 200, the parts are more. go figure
    comments and suggestions encouraged
    thank you

That's a heck of a price for a 15w tube amp. I'll jump on the bandwagon wanting some clips.

If I get any graduation money I might pick one of these up. Either that or a Bugera V5 but this would be louder and I could maybe leave it at my bands practice space.

Also, I found the website on the amp.

EDIT: Not much there, and the Eagletone vox copy isn't listed there hmmm....

I live down in Australia and found what seems to be the 15 watt amp you're talking about here. It's MIC and the branding is for a local budget line. It's got exactly the same markings in the board indide- Boston JyJ-109a. I found this one at a pawn shop and it was dirt cheap had good sounding term and the reverb doesn't sound too bad. (It's no fender, buy hey?). I plugged in instore to make sure it was all ok and they only had one guitar for me to use; the absolutely HUGE pointy shredder stick. So I hastily tried it, the trem was doing a great almost wah type filter sweep that also modulated the volume to some how give one of the deepest onboard valve tremolos I ever heard with a smooth sine wave shape. That was what sold it to me right then. However getting it home on the tram was a mess of bumping and knocking and when I plugged it in at home- no tremolo. Reverb decent volume. But when I try and tremolo, nothing. I can hear a vestigial high frequency tremolo. But not the throbbing beast I met in the store. I've just gotten round to popping the hood and straight away I can see R23 is a charred blackened utterly burnt out resistor. Thats just on first eyeballing, I've run my Meter across most everything else and they are falling within tolerances...just. There's also not the chunky white valve covers over the solder points on the PCB like there is in the one in the pictures above here. Also, I noticed that c1 is totally absent. And is marked as a round presumably electrolytic cap although no indication of polarity I'd probably. I'm going to make an educated guess for R23 and hope C1 was an error. Btw, mine came with a reversible 10" eminence ceramic that appears OEM. So I'm going to put some heat shielding in and flip the bafflr to mount a 12" alnico Jensen I got laying about. If anyone knows where a schematic might be found; that would be great. So, there's my story for what it's worth. Thanks for letting me join up and Hello from Australia!
