Drag! I loved his music. I was an Eddie at the outset from his first record. My fav song: Don't Worry

Saw him on tv, he had a newshow coming up (or it was already playing), he didn't look healthy but I didn't realize he was 70.

    R.I.P Eddie Money

I saw Eddie and his band perform at a small frat party in the late 80's. He was surprisingly very down to earth and approachable. A really nice guy. Plus Shakin' was one of the first cassettes I bought for my Walkman.

    Man, time marches on.

Just heard Baby Hold On To Me on XM the other day. RIP Eddie. Bought his first 2 albums and enjoyed them both. Sorry he's gone. Peace to all who love him.

Wow been watching his show on axis. Even have them recorded. The classics are going fast these days.

Another piece of my musical adolescence gone. Saw him in 1983 with Mitch Ryder (!), and the Fixx. Weird bill, but he was good. RIP.

Bummeroonski! I knew he was sick from news reports the past few but it seems his "Ticket To Paradise" has been punched. Great guy and entertainer. He'll be missed.

Wow. I'd just been reading about something he was up to a while back. Didn't realize he was sick. His lifestyle was talked about a lot among the older musicians/fans when I lived in the Bay area. RIP Money.

One of my secret bucket list bands. They would play for free occasionally at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz & I never made it down.

There was a teacher in my high school who looked exactly like Eddie Money in the "Shakin" video. I mean he could have been his body double, for real. Unfortunately, there wasn't a teacher who looked like Rosanna.

While we're talking about this subject, I think there really needs to be some clarification on whether or not Rosanna's, "tits were shaken till the middle of the night." Because some people say the song doesn't actually say that. For me it's a much cooler and sexier tune if they were.

I didn't know there was any question about Rosanna's tits.

The internet sez: "We did some shakin til the middle of the night".

RIP Eddie, although I heard he was a total douche to his band.

Oh yeah, whether or not Rosanna's tits were shaken is one of the great controversies of rock and roll, like right up there with whether or not Jimmy Page played the riff to the Kink's "You Really Got Me." ;)

It is my belief that the reason for the controversy is that the written lyrics as published and copyrighted do not say tits, but in the recording Eddie clearly says tits in a way that makes it unclear.

All I can say is to that an image search of "ambiguous tits" pulls up some pretty disturbing content. Let's just say the least upsetting thing was nude photos of Jamie Lee Curtis. :ROFLMAO:

Great episode...Doug wins money gambling...wife forbade him to gamble...so he and friend must spend money before wife finds it. They hire Eddie Money who walked into the restaurant they were in trying to eat away the winnings, and bring him home for a private performance. Hilarious episode
