Can anyone recommend a budget priced tremolo pedal? I prefer it to be a small foot print size and hope it will go down to a defined stutter, but I realize that I may not be able to get that in my afore mentioned criteria.
    Thank you.

I've got one of the most sought after, used, cleanest ones available. The Boss TR-2 mint condition. $57 Crap....forgot I sold it.
Anyway....it's one of the best for under $120 if you can find one. Good luck.

Funny I just saw this, I just earlier today ordered the Joyo yellow one under $20 shipped ebay.
The other I was considering is the Mooer Trelicopter around $55. GC or MF.

I was gonna look for a used Ibanez soundtank like zisme but the Joyo has good enough reviews on other forums and the price is right.

I use a Danelctro Cool Cat Tremolo that I got used for $25, including shipping. Has a switchable hard and bias-based effect. I find the biased-based to be my preference.

Before I make a recommendation, what does "budget priced" mean to you? I've found there can be a pretty wide range $ wise depending on who you ask...

I leave my tremolo on all the time with a very subtle effect. Tends to give me a fatter sound.
Tried doing without it a while ago and now it just makes my sound seem so thin.

I agree with Jim, can't beat the Boss for good basic Trem.
