So, in trying to find a Tele style guitar, I stumbled across Elite guitars. They are only about 75 miles from me, and have an impressive feedback rating on eBay. Their guitar store is here. I bought their Elite Tele Pro on Wednesday, it shipped today, and since they are so close, it is supposed to be here tomorrow. According to the posting, they are American made, and have Z-Mule pickups. They also have some nice looking LP guitars. Has anyone else here bought any guitars from this guy, or played Elite guitars?
That's a good deal for a made in US Tele clone. Hopefully it plays and sounds as good as it looks. Curious to hear how that neck is (thin or chunky). I'd never heard of these guys until now. Looking forward to your review.
Looks great and that price for an American made guitar is amazing. I'm looking forward to your review on the guitar. Thanks Reddog
There is no way in hell that's American made for that price. Unless the guy buys parts guitars from overseas (you can get bodies for $10, etc in bulk) and just assembles em. Assembled in America is easy. Made in America is often expensive.
Another Gold Mine Find! The seller has a killer feedback rating, 100%.....some really nice guitars for sale too. Yikes! $275! Hide my PayPal password! Looking forward to your pix and review.
Looking forward to your review cause this seller is about 15 minutes from me in spring hill fl. I will be able to go pick one up instead of shipping it.
I've wanted a Tele for many years. Thanks for sharing. Am looking forward to your thoughts on the guitar.
Not sure. The have a web page: U2cansave.com and there is a messaging feature on their webpage. I will find out soon what they are like - OUT FOR DELIVERY! Yeehaw!
I would not think these are American made. Maybe assembled in America. Parts would cost more here to assemble a tele much less finish it. Really does not matter where it comes from if you are happy. The guitars look very nice in the pictures.
Some of the guitars will actually say they are Chinese, others will say assembled in America or similar verbage. Assembled in America may mean they just tighten up the strings when they arrive from overseas. That white triple bucker is sweet though.
For sure... Wherever they're built they're still priced well and look great. Very intriguing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was checking out the "reverse frampton" LP. Looked kinda cool at first glance but ... Made of ash? ... Middle pickup ring is not straight? ... The tele looks great though, I'm also curious to your review
There is no info as to what wood the LP style guitar's bodies are made of. The necks are maple. First reaction was...not made in this country for that price, even their 'was price'.
