    GLWS!

The DoD 280 has a cult following. It is different than the MXR Dynacomp / Ross strain that dominates the compressor field. More akin to the studio opto compressors. Really cool to plug your acoustic piezo into for that swell effect (listen to Led Zep's "Babe, I'm gonna leave you" for the concept).

I have one from the 80's 'gray with orange logo' series and it appears on my board occasionally.

So what compressor are you using instead of the DOD?

For the longest time I couldn't find much use for comp pedals but I recently decided to give them another go. I recently picked up a Fender Micro Comp (which is really just a rebranded Mooer Yellow Comp) and the DOD 280. They are both great but at the moment I prefer the Fender for the EQ control and the small footprint. I also have a DOD Milk Box that I mess with from time to time.

Funny I owned Milkbox and the Mooer at one time, but not at the same time. Found the Milkbox noisy. No compressor at the moment. Let me think about the DOD. Thanks
