This was the result of the Nomadh Well Hung Raffle thread here:

    https://www.aguitarforum.com/threads/the-nomadh-well-hung-raffle.102869/

    Thanks to @tomringg , @tvvoodoo , @nomadh, @sabasgr68 .
Thanks to all who participated as well.

It is a long thread, but in short tvvoodoo ran a strap giveaway, Nomadh won and as part of it was able to pick another member to give away a second strap.

Instead, he started a raffle for that strap; with the raffle entries in the form of donations to member sabasgr68 living through the ongoing and escalating upheaval in Venezuela.

On a scale that none of the USA based members has ever had to endure on US soil, except for periods after hurricanes, etc. Not including in country tours abroad, etc.
And limited to small geographic areas, not the entire collapse of constitutional rule.
Stay tuned it could happen here next.

Tomringg won the raffle, but instead elected to pay for his own strap, have two made for this event, and gave me the other!! I am beside myself and greatly appreciate all the generosity leading up to this; for the straps and supporting sabasgr68.

In light of this I feel almost guilty about posting this, but it is kept in perspective by noting the events in motion and the lives affected are exponentially more important than my New Gear Post.

Yes, once again I am reminded I talk too damn much.

    I certainly do feel special.

Cool case candy goodies. My yet unfinished brown face princeton 6G2 build footswitch enclosure gloms into the shot.

This is the guitar this was intended for, particularly to tame the neck dive, together with a lighter set of kluson style green key tuners.
    Worked out great.
Goes great with the guitar as well.

Brad had asked Tom and me about strap length as we discussed details. We also discussed the straps having a cultural connection vibe to Venezuela. Brad suggested the Bad Hombre series; we agreed it was a great fit.

When I went to put mine on the guitar, I found that Brad had also set the strap length to my length!!
What a nice personalized / detailed touch.
The strap is of great quality and craftsmanship, cant say enough good things about it and all the folks involved.

Have not decided where to employ the strap locks yet, but the over size / over build of them is impressive.

    Thanks so much again!!

Enjoy your custom strap @jtcnj ! Looks awesome! Great work as usual @tvvoodoo !

    Very deep words, John. Thanks.

It is our time now to experience this bad situation. There are conflicts in almost every country in the world. It is right to keep them in perspective, though; maybe it can help appreciate better the good things we take for granted. But everyone has the right to enjoy life, the small things in life specially. This strap is one of them, DO enjoy it. I haven´t played for a while now; think I´m gonna start again, it helps rest my soul. It is now that I need to do it, actually.

    :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Ha ha!

Back when I was a young man, I dated a bad girl for a short time who always encouraged me to "ride it like you stole it"!!

Bat shit crazy but a lot of fun at the time.
