    Nice! I knew i wasn't going crazy when i kept thinking the body looked like a Kramer!

    Funny enough, i was looking the guitar over yesterday and i did see some darker paint behind the spring in the back, which makes sense if it was re-finished at some point.

    So I finally took the neck off. Not sure if there’s anything under the paint in the neck pocket... the neck has markings. No idea what to make of it

    Hm. Often the letters are the assemblers initials, and the number could be a date or maybe the # of guitar made that day.

    ESP didn't have too many US shops at the time I don't think, the most famous of which being 48th Street. People on an ESP forum of some kind might know more.
