I just thought I should mention these due to the fact that many here are always looking for good sounding and also cheap pickups. I bought a set of these to install in my lp2500 and they really sound good to my ear and for 28.72 I think they are a hell of a good deal. They are 4 wire so you can split em if you want also you can get em in black or zebra. Another thing I just noticed when my new set arrived is that the backplate is not brass as in the pic but rather they are aluminium or nickel silver I'm not sure which but they sound good either way.

    K hold on for EDIT:coldsweat:

If you want to leave a long link (like an Amazon one) you have to do it like this:
    [u r l =http://www.thisis a whole bunch of stuff that makes no sense][ b ]This is the description of what the link is[ / b ][/ u r l]
    I put spaces into the [ u r l ] [ / u r l ] to keep the forum software from making a link of it.

I'd use TinyURL.com to paste your link and it becomes: https://tinyurl.com/r8w7ww4

There are other sites to use. But that's an easy one to use.

I NEVER click on anything that is a tinyurl because it can take you ANYWHERE to a virus or anything else without your knowledge.

Why do they wind them like this, even Gibson does this. Can't they make a pair the same?

Resistance: Neck pickup is 7-8K, bridge pickup is 14-15K.

That's how the GFS Crunchy PAT pups are. Except they have ceramic mags.

I have come to the conclusion that I prefer having them wound like this rather than PAF. Most of them you see at this price point are ceramic which is why I thought to post them here for anyone that was interested.
