Picked this up a couple weeks back in a trade--very cool guitar, just not my style. 2017 Epi Tommy Thayer Limited Edition Explorer with case, custom strap, case candy (signed Cert of Authenticity, Epiphone manuals, even a few bonus Tommy Thayer KISS cards and a 2010 tour pick). Completely stock, Seymour Duncan JB humbuckers, no chips/dings/scratches/cracks.

I have it up on Reverb and all the local outlets, but thought I'd post it here if anyone is interested.

$575 PayPal shipped to your door (continental U.S. only--Canadians, if interested, let me know and perhaps we can work something out. "Torrified composite" fretboard, so perhaps no CITES issues?). You wanted the best, now you can have the best! Seriously cool guitar whether or not you like KISS, but I'm just not an Explorer guy.

so I aplogize, but I've never played a real explorer, only the Chapman Ghost knockoff... do these have straight necks, or are they angled back like a LP?

I've never played an Explorer either (and determined I'm not an Explorer guy--hence the sale!), but it looks to me like it's straight (?). I'm no luthier and just eyeballing here, but it looks straight (or maybe set at a SLIGHT angle?)

I think he meant the headstock angle.

Ah wasn't sure--thought he meant angle from the body as a Les Paul neck is set slightly angled back....

In any event, guitar is still available!

Pretty cool! That would not be my cup of tea either. Plus, my neighbors are moving and just gave me a Yamaha EG 112C - which makes #25. I am at my limit.

    GLWS!

I figure there's a very specific audience for this. Hope it'll be well played!

    glad you sold it!

I did mean angle of the neck, like on a LP. When I had the Chapman Ghost explorer style, the neck was straight, but because the body was so big, that pushed the nut side away from my body so far when I played it (and pushed on the back of the body with my arm), it was uncomfortable. I would have been interested if there was some neck tilt back to make it more comfortable...

Thanks, yea neck was set pretty much straight from the body, not really an LP angle or anything. I too have learned that I prefer the LP angle.
