Hey everyone, trying to sell a few pedals here as I've been hit with a medical bill that is maxing out my HDHP out of pocket. Not looking for sympathy or anything but if you are wondering ... Everything is ok now (that's the important part) but we did have to call 911 for my 4 year old daughter. So that along with an ER visit and an overnight stay really put things over the top.

    On to the pedals ...

Here is a Skeddy Mayo soundalike. It's priced lower than normal due to the imperfections in the finish. This is mostly on the bottom but has portions on the side. This in no way affects the functionality of the pedal. If you put it on a board you probably won't see the imperfections anyway. The pedal also has a bit of a creamish tint that does not show up in the pictures.

    Woodrow Wilson Drive

This is a Lovepedal Woodrow soundalike/clone with an added gain control. The gain doesn't do much until the last quarter turn or so but it does allow this pedal to go from a dirty cranked tweed distortion to sort of a fuzz. I just consider it a bonus since it's not on the original pedal and does add some extra versatility.

Box Of Rock pedal. It is a soundalike of the pedal by Zvex of the same name. I love the classic 80s arcade games so the Asteroid graphics are my homage to that era. The enclosure is powerdercoated with a bit of a texture to it. Really fitting for the theme of this pedal.

    *****
Clean boost and a distortion circuit - like 2 effects in 1 box.

The Box of Rock is a distortion pedal, highly specialized to simulate the "everything on 10" sound of a classic Marshall amplifier. Use your guitar's volume control to adjust the amount of distortion you need, all the way down to very clean and clear with most drive settings. The pedal has one "Distortron Engine" stomp switch which engages the distortion circuit. The Box of Rock also contains an extremely high-headroom, unity-to-50X gain booster with nominal input impedance and low hiss.

    Features:
Drive, Tone, Volume, and Boost controls give you easy control over your distortion.

Gives you great classic amp tone through any sort of amplifier.

Fat Pickle Fuzz. It's based on the original Swollen Pickle MKI that are very pricey (if you can find one).

The pedal has a few flaws in the finish. These typically won't be noticeable if placed on a pedal board. They are primarily on the side as you can see from the picture.

Meatwad Fuzz. It is a DAM Meathead soundalike but it has additional depth/bass controls. Both are 3way and they interact with each other. The original by DAM is insanely pricey. This one gives you a great chance to obtain that sound with additional options that the original did not have.

Sorry to hear about the health scare Ryan. I hope your daughter is doing well now. After looking at that Sho' Nuff all this time I should just buy it. Got any demos of that or the One-Two Punch?

Thanks. She is back to normal now. I don't have demos but I could probably do them tomorrow if you wanted?

    That's great news!

I was just wondering if you had any. I'm sure you're busy enough with dad/husband responsibilities so no worries. :) Plus, I know what a pain it is to set up and try and record a decent demo.

Any idea what the One-Two Punch is based on?

It's similar to the Zvex Super Duper but it's wired a bit differently (as you'll see just by looking at them) and has some different part values in it.

I'll do videos for them both today.

So I recorded the Sho'Nuff video and kinda noticed a bit of a sequel. I thought maybe it was the amp but I don't remember hearing this noise before. I'm pretty particular about excess noise or sounds in pedals. But in the Sho'Nuff it wasn't too bad. But then I shot the demo for the One-Two Punch and it was worse. So I switched amps thinking it was that. Nope. Then I swapped power supplies. That was it. I was initially using one that was provided with a newer Digitech pedal. Then I swapped to a Maxon. Both are standard 9v. No noise with the Maxon. I remember this is why I got rid of my OneSpot. They always had the same extra noise that the Digitech one had. So this first video shows that difference. I re shot the other videos due to that extra noise.

Video showing 2 different power supplies:

    Sho'Nuff:

    One-Two Punch:

All are pretty messy but you'll get the idea.

Sho'Nuff and Purple Plexi sold. Also confirmed today that my max out of pocket has been reached. Now I just have to pay it.
