No experience with streamliners but I have an electromatic Korean 5420t and think it is outstanding.

That's a beauty go for it! I have the 2655 streamliner and its one of my favorites, the P90's should be really nice.

That looks great! I can't decide whether I'd rather have black covers on those P90's but I'd still own one of those. I've never owned a Streamliner, but I know that Gretsch CAR is really nice in person.

I have a few Gretsches but no Streamliners.
I can say to beware, every Gretsch I have bought has served to make me want another! :)

Covers are easy to change out on a P90 so you could have it either way.

A Gretsch needs Hilo'Trons, Dearmonds, or Filtertrons imo. Those p90's would swap out easy for either.

It is a nice guitar otherwise.

I'd go for it if you like it. Gretsch seems to have great quality throughout their lineup these days. I have a couple of Chinese, a few Korean and a Japanese Gretsch and they are all top notch.

I like the Broadtrons but have never tried any of the others so I'll try to get a set from someone, which of these do you think is the best?

I saw a beautiful Gretsch this weekend, burl wood top, fancy wood headstock.

I believe player used a Magnatone amp. Looked classic fancy as well!

That is an absolutely gorgeous red! Really rich. Clearly the best color of the Streamliner series.

The look of that guitar is amazing! I would definitely play that. Gretsch is putting out some amazing guitars over the past few years due in part to their Korean factory really stepping up their game.
