    Bump for live here

Not just cars, they usually have a number of iconic race bikes of yesteryear, stuff you do not see often, and running!

This is all vintage, right? I've gone for years to the Laguna seca vintage races and pebble beach concourse. Its amazing. But people tell me goodwood is double the seca.

They had some F1 cars, only a season or two old yesterday, and some brand-new issue supercars, which are incredible.
And then in the next series up is a 1906 something!

One thing that is cool is drivers are top guys from several series, some old-guard, as Derek Bell.

My dad was just asking me if I will go to Laguna seca historics @ end of aug.
But the old free all Italian car show is now $150+. The $40 Pebble beach concourse is now $200+. Races 150 a day. Free Double tree auto auction now requires a bid card to watch. The free meacham auction is still the bargain @$40. Motel6 room $300 a night. Driving the 66 vette roadster hard @ 10 miles gal.
And my main reason to go, highway 1, is closed. Still my dad has gone 31 years in a row. How many more chances will we have? And if I don't go he may skip it.

Did you guys see the Mclaren Senna car? Holy bat mobile.. That thing is wicked and Bruno Senna was driving it! Nice to see that name in motorsports again.
    RIP Ayrton Senna

So many icons.. where to start!
    Chaparrall (sp?)!
    Paris-Dakar stuff.
The old, famous Audi Quattro rallye
Giacomo "Ago" Agostini and the MV, Freddie Spencer and the RC21.

I was casually watching modern street/sportcars, saw an interesting entry from Lexus, LC500 Sport or such. Looked "LC500" up, whoa, starts at 95K..!
I am sure they are up there in speed and handling, but most folks in this price bracket probably prefer an "household" name?
