Big for me anyway. I've only done a little singing. Currently cover last dance w Mary Jane. It's not too taxing vocally. Well somehow I got roped into singing black crowes' hard to handle and jealous again. I sang em a few weeks ago at rehersal and it went well except i actually got a sore throat/cold the next day. My band thinks it sounds good. I think they aren't hearing the pa. Great songs. I just wish someone else would sing them. They took all the easy ones like roadhouse blues and left me strangling onstage. Sometimes a crack or squeak. Sometimes I just choke out. I do best when I gargle a little whisky. Still figuring out how to keep it reliable and toughen up.
Anyway its a matinee show 3 to 7. 1st time with the new band at this bar. 1st time doing a matinee show.
I think my wife will be covering it on Facebook live. Kimberly hyde with the little white dog picture if anyone wants to point and laugh.

Here's the setlist in my new program

I never like my own voice, but if enough others say it sounds good on a piece, I accept that. Just try to make sure you have fun with it.

I think @sabas caught some of a show once. Iirc
3 to 7 . Watch live and see if we keep it on the rails. I'm worried because we have been having a hard time getting everyone together for rehearsals and this will be the first 4 set gig they have ever done. It's why they are relying on more of my songs.

I did finally see a few more videos show up. The song you sang on was a really solid performance. Nice solo too!

Here is jealous again. Not too happy with my vocals. I've done much better I think but the song did hold together and I didnt choke out. Maybe skip to the 2nd half. :)

I agree with Jeff you have to have fun. I sing alot now and its scary at first but if you have fun with it like you do guitar it will work well. Im in 3 bands now and sing in all of them. The 2 songs that scared me were play that funky music and purple rain. But when I looked at it like how I play guitar it got easier.
