Thanks man! One of my favorites in the collection (and a great reminder of the treasures of GC used).

After some mods this turned out to be a pretty good player.

They are good angry pickups. I don't know that I would ever buy them to upgrade, but they sound/look good in this guitar. I feel like I am the least qualified to make recommendations on pickups on this entire forum....

Not an actual pic of mine, but identical... a late 90s Epiphone Les Paul Standard Limited Edition Greenburst... I have owned two. The first was stolen, never recovered. This was then purchased over a decade later, stolen, and recovered.

I don't think it will ever be passed along. The only things sx any more are the neck and body, and the neck was stripped and refinished. Texas specials wired with a 4way switch and it is a top shelf guitar. Maybe I got lucky, but the fretwork on it were absolutely perfect out of the box, and I just like the old sx neck profile.

Much like my BSB STL-50. Stripped off the orange tint from the neck with CitriStrip, CTS pots, Orange Drop cap, Fender switch, Fender Original Vintage pickups, Graph Tech nut, Grover tuners, Fender vintage round string trees and headstock reshaped (to normal Fender Tele shape). Now has a blank headstock.

I agree with you on the necks on those STL's. Never had any issue with the frets, even after stripping the orange tint off of the neck and fretboard. Solid, great playing guitar. Definitely a keeper.

I'll play! Only got one green guitar. 1958 Gretsch Anniversary. Pics dont show it's real color but it's as green as a booger.

I don’t have a green guitar to share, but, how about a green Judi Dench?

Had to dig into the basement for this one. It received my second ever fret job, and the action is crazy low. EMGs and an on-board booster/preamp allow this thing to make nasty. 20190603_213529.jpg

I call this one Kato - built up from a Warmoth body with Lollars.
