How many folks did grab the Gretsch G2655T Streamliner as discounted by Adorama, in early December 2017?

I love mine, as it is unlike anything else I have, and discovered that it really sounds great through the Fender Blues Jr.
Just today, some mild delay plus plain Crybaby wah pedal fixed mid-way, and the combo gave that smoky blues feel.

Incidental detail: I had worked on the the Blues Jr valves, and I left it pulled against a fabric-covered ottoman - I wonder if the open back benefited from that fortuitous placement?

Oddly (to me), they start at fret 1 and not beyond 17.
Is this a signature Gretsch thing, perhaps?

(uhoh, I just added "Gretsch" to my spelling dictionary, as it was unknown to the machine!)
