I found this video on the subject of pickup swapping and the modern pc board such as my Gibson Futura has installed, .. Mine has been buggy and I've been planning to remove and replace it with standard pots, you can skip to 9.09 to save time. The problem or course is that If I should decide to swap pups I have to solder the new ones in. With this pc board you can simple push down the clip and insert either a 2 or 4 wire pup and off you go. I grant you its a little pricey but will save me a lot of work down the road. Here's a link to the web site. https://obsidianwire.com/

    Nah.

Your situation may be different from mine, but I've never replaced pickups twice in a guitar.

I think its the type of connector that they are using which is of interest to me, kinda like my stereo has but smaller.

Yes because the entire assembly isn't going to work on anything but Gibsons due to the different distance between the control pot shafts...

Toneshapers used to provide a kit like this. A few brands have kits that work with their pickups. I really like Kinman's solderless harness.

If you're gonna replace pickups that often you really have to start thinkin' about the music you''re playin' and less about the guitar. I guess these are for "One Guitar" guys

Well in my case the stock Gibson pc board is buggy so I want to replace it. I was going to solder in push push pots wired to Jimmy page spec and I may still do it. However this looks like a good alternative as long as I'm replacing it anyway. I wont be able to Jimmy page because that requires 4 push pull pots but there is a push pull option that give me two if I decide to go that way.
