I missed the Gretsch G5420T I bought recently, so I guess that makes 37.

I had to go back to my first post on here because I was worried that I'd more than doubled my "collection" since joining. I started at AGF with 17. I have 27 at this moment. My goal is to have 30, because it's a nice round number. What can I say? I'm easily enabled and you guys are a great influence!

100 seems like a better round number than 30. Just sayin'...

What, you think it's bad? LOL I plan on giving up cigars entirely, the day my ticket is punched. LOL In my will it is clearly started that I want my ashes placed in a very fancy and ornate cigar box.Is that weird? LOL

Bad? Not at all, quality of life and all that. And a cigar box urn is both appropriate and ingenious. It'll save the family a couple $K too...

I keep feeling like I'm leaving one out. But I always did say "One for each day and twice on Sunday!" so that means I have room left for one more!

    "how-many-guitars-do-you-own ?"

In my fantasy world or for real ?

In the real world, I own 2 (1 acoustic and 1 electric) with the expectation of acquiring 2 more electrics over the next 2 years.

In my fantasy life, I'm debating whether it's prudent to buy my wife Zoe Saldana a new Porsche so she won't get upset over guitar purchase # 67 next week.

I think I'm down to 8 now(2 acoustics, 6 electrics), been a while since I've obtained any and a few had to hit the chopping block to pay for more important things. Also got one out on loan so someone can learn with it.

You don't really own an instrument, you are merely its custodian.
    - George Gruhn

My answer to the original question is: I honestly don't know, but one of these days I intend to figure it out.

Wow, friends and family joke about my addiction, but around the forum I'm just a recreational user. I have 10 electrics, 4 acoustics, 1 uke, 1 cigar box, and a couple of parts projects. For reference, when I joined the forum I was happy with my 2 guitars at the time.
