We got to the point where we had enough songs completed that we figured we might as well pick a dozen good ones, bundle them together, and call it an album. The songs posted above are more than half of those that will be on our album. Of course making an album necessitated coming up with a name for our "band." We're actually just a studio project, at least for now, though we'll see where it goes. After much brainstorming we hit on "Lamb Chops," which evolved into "Lam Chops," then "Lam Chopz," and finally to the inevitable "LAMCHOPZ." Love it or hate it, I've found that people don't seem to forget it once they've heard it. I did the album art. It's a lamb from an antique Italian nativity, standing on top of a leopard coaster, with a backdrop from a book on English country decor. I was going for something that was striking and memorable, colorful and beautiful like a Matisse painting, and suggestive of the absurd, surreal, and irrational. CD Cover I'll probably list the credits down the center between the image of Donna and I and use it for the inside cover of the CD. The image was already blurry and after I applied a filter it took on the look of an old photo. It's a nod to where our musical influences come from. This will probably be the back cover of the CD.
