Even though that's not my cup of tea, it's always good to see new models from Kurt. I voted YEAH for sure. As far as price goes, that's always subjective.

Doesn't Bucket use arcade style switches? Seems that would be easier to use anyway. Those SS Switches look pretty small.

Yep. They also don't seem to protrude, which means you have to push them with a finger - not good. The Buckethead ones can be pushed with any part of your picking hand.

Still, it's cool. Price is in line with other SE's (which is high - don't see why they still exist).

It would be interesting using the normal LP configuration.

I also wonder what one of these would look like completely white (hardware, headstock, maple fretboard)

I need to get me some of those switches. I moved by toggle on my AL-3200 because that LP switch is always getting in the way, drives me crazy. So I replaced one of my useless tone pots with a swtich. But I'd MUCH prefer to have something "up" there just not sticking out.

Nice to see Rondo coming out with some new stuff, even though it is a blatent Buckethead ripoff.

Well, it's only ugly if you're not into the Buckethead signature model and this is clearly aimed at people who want an affordable version of that since Gibson wants thousands for theirs...and this looks an awful lot like it.

As for the overpriced part, don't really see that...it's $400 which is a usual AL3K price these days plus this has some obviously unique features and nothing like this is offered by anyone short of the Aliexpress crowd at anywhere near this price.

It's not something I'm into (even though I am a Buckethead fan), but I can see how it would appeal to others and appreciate Kurt steppin' outside the norm on an AL versus just giving us another 50 ERGs in various finishes.

3010 does not equal 3k. 3010 were priced at 329 or something a few years back as the cheaper priced model. As for price, they are all too high. Do not know who or what buckethead is so can't comment on that. As for kill switches, why? Real guitarist used to use the toggle, volume swells etc to get different sounds. GET OFF MY LAWN TOO.

You are giving Gibson fodder to use against rondo with your statement.

Not one I would buy or choose to play. But like others said damn nice to see something beside an ERG. My age is showing since I'd rather have 4 knobs and toggle the toggle.

The key term being "a few years back". Inflation is a thing :). The 3010s were I believe $350 when they first came out, then went to $325 when Rondo was blowing a few out. $50 increase over a few years is to be expected.

As for the rest of your post, my reply would depend directly upon whether or not you're joking. I'm actually not really sure lol.

Based on the MIK factory price increases Kurt has mentioned in the past, I'm kind of surprised to see the AL-3100MCC/3200MCCs still listed at $400/$500.

This model is not my cup of tea either but the only way you might possibly get something that "looks" like that is AE or DHGate and I have yet to buy anything from either that matches the build, hardware or component quality of the old 2000 series Agiles...

Yep agreed. I think they have to be around that price because the real draw of Agiles is that they offer great quality at a great price. In my opinion Agile has little competition in its price range cuz almost no other companies offer these specs and quality for this price. When you’re talking about charging >$600+ there are other better known manufacturers and competition becomes a little tougher.

As you can see with some of these customs that are put up for sale at like $1400 and now are still available price dropped to $800...knowing your audience is important :)
