So the video demo's of this amp really swayed me. I've always been a guitar first, amp second kind of guy, thinking that all I really needed was my Marshall SL5 and Code 25, but this MT15 sounds so good on both the clean and (hellfire) dirty channels. I can't believe you can get such sparkly cleans and bring the brutals too!

Pics when I get home tonight. Also picked up a Blackstar 1x12 with a WGS Green Beret loaded into it, got that for $80!!!

Anybody want to recommend some good heavy rock to play through this bad boy? Most of what I play is classic rock to hair metal, but I want something a little edgier to play... Thoughts?

This is the best I can do until I get home, but at least it proves that I'm not hallucinating!

Creed. It is Mark Tremonti's signature amp, right?

yep... Creed is an obvious choice! I'm just looking for maybe something outside the box that maybe I haven't heard of before...

@solteroblues as for heavy songs, this one is fun to play. (It's in D standard.) \m/

Yes, make sure your tuner is ready. Mark uses a few alternate tunings.

Here's some pics... The clean (blue) channel is glorious! I've never had an amp with as good of a clean channel as this one. I haven't cranked it to see what kind of head room it has, but its so loud, there should be plenty. And the clean boost can get it into some great blues territory. Switching over the dirty (red) channel gives you all of the gain you could want. It is LOUD. The designer said he could spend about 30 minutes with it and make it a 55 watt amp, I'm not sure what would need to be done, but it's so loud I don't doubt it. BUT, i can turn it down to bedroom levels and it still sounds pretty good to my ears.

How is the noise level? I've read that some are noisier than others.

on the dirty channel I have a good bit of noise, but I think it may be my cable, as when I touch the strings, the noise goes down to nearly nothing. I also get some hum on my other amp with that cable. But I've also had the gain turned pretty high, too. No noise at all on the clean channel.

Great buy right there man. Because of the artist (not a huge Tremonti fan) I never really gave it a look. Going off now to watch a few videos of it.
