@mighty_duck - Probably the reason these guitars showed up in my feed.

WTH - It was my birthday yesterday, I'm going for it!

Man that site is awful. 1+minutes for images to load & that's all I get? An image? No price? No specs?

    Where you guys seeing prices?

That SG copy with the Maestro Vibrola looks like the Vintage brand right down to the engraving on the trem.

I didn't need to see the SG for that price.

PG is funky, but that can be fixed.

Amazon came through with delivery this morning via USPS. Guitar was double boxed (although with minimal packing) & arrived in good shape. According to the label it shipped from their warehouse in Hebron, KY.

Quick inspection revealed no major flaws. At this price point I don't use the big magnifying glass or spend too much time. If I were going to nit pick, the string ferrules are not perfectly inline.

The spalted top is nice & I do not see any hidden monsters or body parts. The body finish is nice, glossy & not too thick. The neck has a thin satin finish. Neck is what I call a C shape & fairly thin (definitely no baseball bat) with 22 very well finished frets & a rosewood fretboard (no dye rubbing off when I play). Nut is fairly nicely cut, but could use a little lowering with the third fret test. Truss rod will need adjustment & then the saddles adjusted, but it is playable now. Tuners are typical, probably 12:1, but seem to hold tune.

I played the guitar for a couple minutes without any further adjustments. Volume & tone pots work well (over the full sweep), as does the switch. Neck pup sounds full & jazzy, bridge pup sounds decent. I am sure a setup will help things.

I am not a corksniffer. I have a few decent guitars & more partscasters & inexpensive guitars than I can count. I like to mod guitars. I would definitely put this guitar in the 'keeper' category. The body & neck are good looking & are of decent weight (feels like a musical instrument & not a toy). All the other parts are passable or easily upgraded so desired.

    The physical evidence:

Looks great and I'm relieved they don't offer left-handed models because from what I've seen so far from this source, I'd definitely be sliding down that slippery slope...
