Worth noting that it’s a brand new seller on Reverb with zero feedback. He has other similarly discounted items that were just listed 3 days ago and already marked down substantally. Pictures are limited and very sparse descripitons too. He could just be hard up for cash, but it wouldn’t pass the smell test for me without a direct explanation from the seller.

Yeah, sometimes folks sell stuff for rent money. Certainly would explain everything I've ever bought from GC. I agree that him not having any feedback is strange but the photos of all 3 guitars are taken in the same location and even on the same stand...plus in my experience Reverb has always been great with the customer service and they support buyers (and sellers) quite well.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy something from a seller with no feedback given the protections offered by Reverb/Paypal, but I understand not everyone feels that way.

I have had zero problems on Ebay or reverb getting a refund when something has ever gone wrong.

If I had that kind of moolah I'd almost consider learning to play lefty just to own that. And if I had more than that kind of moolah spare, I'd buy it purely for the sake of owning that.

I just couldn't pass it up. I figured I'd throw a lowball offer of $350 and I expected him to come back at $545, but he took my offer. If it comes in good condition then I just picked his pocket.

Nice!! Glad I was able to hook it up for someone here, if all goes well that is one killer score. Let us know when it arrives and hope it’s a winner.

Doc that wasn't pick pocketing that was a full on mugging with a willing party. I couldn't have justified the 550 plus everything price but your price I'd a jumped for sure.

Frig, I would jump at getting a Carvin at that price.

    Well done, Doc!

heck of a deal, I paid $435 shipped for my old TL60 and sold it for a hit more in a fit of lunacy...

    That is an outright larceny.

Yep, gotta love Carvin's piss poor resale value. I've had a few over the years, always $1600-$2200 builds and always $400-$500 used. I think Carvin's the very best bang for the buck out there as far as used guitars go. Agile is amazing too of course with what you can get for around $300 or less, but it's pretty nuts to be able to get a USA built custom shop guitar for these prices.

People don't drop the prices enough around here. If they pop up, they are way too close to new value, and then they don't sell.

Of course, I turned down a NOICE Ultra V a couple years back because I just didn't dig the neck. The guy was asking $825. It finally went off Kijiji when it hit $700.

I rarely buy many things new. Smart people avoid paying retail costs. Hey, this is called the Affordable Guitar Forum for a reason. Same thing with most of my purchases. I buy cars that are two years old with no damage and minimal mileage and usually try to pay 40% less than what they cost 2 years earlier. A fool and his money are soon parted...
