Bought this locally off of Craigslist. The previous owner got it in a trade and was parting with for a reasonable price. I couldn't help but spot that the pickups had been swapped and the that the bridge looked like it had been modded with graphtec saddles so I took a chance.

I told the owner that I thought they were Seymour Duncans Phat Cats when I bought it and that the saddles had changed, but he seemed perfectly happy that I thought I was getting a good deal.

I can't promise you that I'm not going to flip this. But at least I get some time with a semi-hollow with SD Phat-Cats in the meanwhile.

Those echotones are really sweet guitars, big bonus with those pickups, perfect match. Can't believe you would want to flip that. Post on here if you wanna sell it

I'm not a hollow body type but I'll bet it sounds good.

I'll likely post it this weekend after stringing it up again and documenting as much of it as I can. It's another one of those guitars that has a few minor scratches that are near impossible to catch unless you get them in the right light. The wood grain on this is super subtle, but I have to admit I love it that part of it. This thing just doesn't hold a candle to my Ovation VXT though. That is my go to Semi-Hollow.

The pickups are great with light to medium gain. They don't respond quite like any other pickup I have, and that's really where they're the most unique. I prefer the bridge pickup to the neck which is interesting to me as that isn't typically the case for me.

I still plan to sell this thing though and you'll see it in the classifieds as a result. I really appreciate the opportunity to play this guitar while it's in my collection though as I'd really wanted to try out these humbucker sized P90s and love the look of the 335 body. I still want to reduce the size of my collection overall and, generally, keep funds available for other cool things that come up when perusing craligslist and FB marketplace.
