Perhaps you could find a righty who would pick it up and ship for you? :)

Mickey is that the stock bridge? That looks like it might make a good trem to hardtail conversion bridge.

Nope, it is/was the best ever Strat hardtail conversion bridge (IMHO). It was made by a south Floriduh outfit called "Custom Shop Parts" and was called the "Drop Top Convertible."
Unfortunately, Custom Shop Parts went belly up several years ago. I also have one on my Fender Strat....

yeah, sleepy Nate feeding baby couldn't figure that out.

I did think about biting on it after I woke up this morning, but I really want to sell off some more not add on. I sold my AD-2300 over the weekend and I am going to be selling off a few more.

I had the same model once previously, but had modded it quite a lot before selling it...

It’s not too far from me - 45 minutes. I’m usually in Lincoln on the weekend for groceries and such. I will be this weekend. Might be able to convince the wife to stop and pick it up and send it. PM me if you want me to snag it.

thanks for the offer, but I really shouldn't. I really want to declutter my office, but I am trying not to put guitars in cases, or putting them out in the garage.

I've got that same exact one tucked in a corner that I'm thinking of eventually doing the @Mickey gold hardware treatment on...

it did look great with gold hardware, especially after the swap to the maple fretboard. I had all gold on mine with cream EMG single coils when I sold it. It was a real looker.

However, I have my trans blue ash Hawk and natural ash Leo already not to mention my CV, my partscaster, and MIM Squier Standard. I need another strat like a whole in my head...

Yes, I'd definitely go with a maple fretboard too...

Why aren't hard tail Strats more typical?

I might consider one, if so. No whammy please.

    Tuning ADD.

not sure, I modded one like that and I have 2 others with the same bridge as Mickey's. I have owned 4 guitars now that the convertible bridge. I like them a lot.
