It's been a little while since I started a frivolous guitar picture thread, but since there seems to be some continued Gretsch love here, let's post some pics of your Gretsch guitars.

I have never owned a Gretsch, but if I did it would be that white beauty.

Gretsch has so many great guitars to choose from and Dude you gots some good ones. My son finally claimed the G6120DS I was holding after giving it to him. So I am down to just 2... My 6120N and my Tangerine with Towner/Bigsby Pro Jet...

I will freely admit that I’ve had 2 different 5420s that I bought from Adorama on the $499 sales and I flipped them both for a profit. But they were fantastic guitars and this thread ain’t helping :). Black Friday is near, maybe #3 will be the charm! I have to say I would probably go with a thinner body next time around, that 562x style is pretty killer looking.

I love that Tangerine Pro Jet! I think the stop tailpiece option is so much better than the B5 on some Pro Jets because you can mount a B3 with the Towner bar which looks and works much better IMO.

If I were to get a gretsch what body style is most like the casino coupe? Hopefully doublecut but mainly looking at how hollow (hollowness?) and the body size. I like my coupe but I still think that epi neck doesnt feel right to me. What is that? Epis just seem off to me sometimes. I hop between acoustic, fender, gibson sometimes bass. It seems I shouldn't be very sensitive to that.

I don't have one. I've really wanted to own a Gretsch Billy Bo Thunderbird.

Don't mind if I do. And @msc_ , I've always loved the job you did on your G5435. It's a stunning guitar.

G2655 streamliner, I never use a trem so I went with there version of a stoptail which is kinda cool looking imho. I do like the Broadtron's in it quite a bit and yeah I'm getting ready to paint the room.

I've still got the 5120 in this picture but the blue 5420 is gone.

I also have this 6120-60. Great guitar, just needs a fret levelling when I get the time.

I have owned a lot of EPI's and really had some nice ones but...there was this intangible something that was missing. Neck? Maybe. Just know that when I was honest with myself it was time to sell and with zero regrets.

Nomadh - are you more interested in it being a hollow (weight an issue) or the (More like coupe) size ?
