No Teles arrived yet from New stock but they had the new strats. Blue, Vintage White, Metallic Black and Surf Green. The metallic black almost had me and I hate black guitars. It was more like a high end auto metallic finish.. And the HB.. Had second thoughts about the black as they were getting my surfer ready but I'm happy.

All works but the strings.. I'm used to playing 13s on an acoustic so the 9s have got to go asap. All in all pretty nice for the price.

$140 for guitar and $60 for a super high quality bag with great cushioning. Pretty good deal for $200 even.

BTW just realized the pick guard is mint green.. Didn't see it before because I thought the plastic was shading it that way.. Gives it a very classed up look vs the clean white.

Congrats! I really like the contrast in plastics and the two knob control layout. It’s nice when a brand adds their own touches to a classic design.

    They look nice.
I dont know if that soft case "Skyhope" is making a statement on its airline protection ability, but I like that too.

The HSS ones might look cool with Nickel-silver single coil covers.

To be honest only the metallic black looked good with the covered humbucker. What they should do is put a zebra bucker in there.. I would have grabbed it in a secind

Just a heads up.. If this Skyhope brand bag is available in USA.. Grab it.. One of the highest quality bags I've seen. At $60 it is a great value.

I was just playing it Unplugged because I realized those crap weazels at Blackstar didn't include an adapter with my Fly amp and I don't have any batteries and I don't feel like going out at 9 pm. But it plays pretty well. Just need to get rid of the 9s, swap in some Pure Nickel 11s and set it up a bit. The saddles are all discombobulated and it needs a going over but fret work is perfect and plays OK without any work up front.

OH hell no. I've been playing 13s for a year now and I almost pulled the high E off the board at the store... Way too light

I'm a neat freak and my GF is a disorganized mess... It works as long as I count to 10 before I say what I want to say when she's tornadoed my apartment

Nice, that looks great! It says Maya Japan, are these actually MIJ? Hard to imagine they would be if they're going for under $200 brand new.

No just bought the name of an iconic 70s brand and now made in China. But having said that.. Quality quite good with Maya labeled Wilkinson alnicos. The early release had Wilkinson labels but my guess is it saves money just to avoid fees. I heard that was also the reason Harley Brenton switched to Roswell branding because Wilkinson jacked up licensing fees after lots of good press. Someday I'll pop them out and actually see if there's any clues inside. But they are varied height alnicos slugs for sure.

Nice, can't beat a cool strat in a nice finish that cheap. Seems a little nicer than the SX stuff at about the same price.

I thought the idea of 8’s was insane but BB King and the Reverend Billy Gibbons told me I was working to hard with heavier strings so I finally tried them. After a few weeks adjusting, I started to wonder if 7’s wouldn’t be a good idea.
