Not really a meme, but I received this the other day:
"But we just printed four million of these." "Shhh -- probably no one will even notice."
It would have been much samrter to print a few proof copies first.
Where's the 8-track?
The crazy uncle you don’t want near your kids? Hopefully far away!
Unfortunately, the same people who aren't samrt enough to notice the issue digitally are the same ones who'll focus on the color in a proof copy.
Love that. OTOH, I have an old Marantz SD-9000 cassette player (reportedly the best of its day) that folks are paying $800 and up for in vintage stores. What's up with THAT? Where do you buy high-end cassettes these days, and what are they actually using them for?
Not exactly high end ... but: https://www.thomann.de/gb/tascam_202_mkviii.htm
But why? I dunno ... audio masochists?
Maybe the DBX noise reduction? I bought one of these new for the outrageous amount of $400 (I think) back in the 80s. Maybe it's time to sell at $1200+
I have a Nacamichi MR2 that I was thinking of unboxing over my next vacation to see if it still works.
I can't believe Keith Richards and Ric Ocasik were the same age.

That is surprising to hear. They may be the same age but I believe that Richards has seen a whole lot more miles.
My instant sean connery impression. Just say.........
